Join Michael Jarmer and Mimi Herman as we celebrate the release of Mimi's new novel, The Kudzu Queen, at the Corkscrew Wine Bar in Sellwood on March 6, 6 pm.
Michael Jarmer will read from his fiction, and then Mimi will read from her new novel, followed by an author Q&A.
The readings and Q&A will be followed by the Jonathan Smith Trio at 8 pm.
About Mimi Herman: In addition to The Kudzu Queen, Mimi Herman is the author of A Field Guide to Human Emotions, Logophilia and The Art of Learning. Her writing has appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review, The Carolina Quarterly, Shenandoah, Crab Orchard Review, Prime Number Magazine and other journals. She has performed her poetry and fiction at Why There Are Words, Symphony Space in New York City and other venues. She is a Kennedy Center teaching artist and co-director of Writeaways writing workshops in France, Italy, Ireland, New Mexico and online. She is an alumna of the MFA program at Warren Wilson.

About Michael Jarmer: A longtime Portland resident musician, writer, and teacher, Michael earned an MFA from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers.
